Purpose and Summary of Position:
Under the supervision of the Americas Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing sales and profitability of available company products in direct support of business line marketing objectives. The Sales Representative serves as the primary contact between Celanese Chemicals and established, as well as potential, customers and distributors to:
* Achieve sales and business objectives
* Develop strong relationships
* Promote customer satisfaction
* Monitor and present product and market information to sales and business line management
* Ensure prompt payment of customer invoices
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Must have Bachelor’s degree
* Must be authorized to work in the US
* Strong oral and written communications skills
* Computer skills, including word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets
* Ability to operate independently with minimal direct supervision
* Demonstrated strong leadership and initiative competencies
Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Sales skills preferred
* MBA degree preferred
* Functional knowledge of chemistry, chemical reactions and processes
